Refill Station Labels with the Cricut Joy

Over the last year or so, we have been making an effort to embrace a more sustainable lifestyle. Now that can sound intimidating, but it’s not. We started with small steps and are now at the point where we have a small home refill station for things we use most often like laundry detergent and hand soap. This means that the bottles they go into for everyday use needed to have labels, of course! Naturally, I pulled out my Cricut Joy machine and quickly designed some for our laundry room!

To start, I designed the actual labels myself. I looked online for some inspiration and decided on something simple but classic, in black and white. You can find the file with the labels for the refill bottles and the small everyday bottles here!

Cricut Design Space laundry labels

To create these labels I used the Cricut Joy Pen (.4mm, black) and the Smart Writeable Vinyl in white. It’s super easy to do, just follow the prompts to add the pen first and when it’s done drawing, switch over to the blade and you have yourself perfect labels!

Using the Cricut Design Space couldn’t be easier! There are so many fonts available through the Cricut Access Premium subscription - I use it allllll the time. It’s so worth it!

Attaching these labels is super easy as well - just peel up like a sticker and apply it in the middle of the bottle. For reference, the clear bottles I’m using are a 32 oz size and the labels are 4” x 4”.

For the refill bottles, they hold 4 L and the labels are about 4” x 5” and I just kept it simple by not worrying about them being too perfect. I like that the “B’s” and “D’s” don’t have their middle pieces in - it’s a little more casual? I used the Removable Smart Vinyl in black for this one.

I love how clean and tidy everything looks now and it’s so easy to refill these bottles by just pulling down the refill bottles and pumping into one of the everyday containers.

I’d love to know if you’ve ever tried a refill station at home, and how you’d make labels with your Cricut Joy!
