What does this mean?

Well it’s simple.  It’s complicated. But it’s not hard to understand.  It’s just hard to DO.

Get it?

No, me either.  Not yet, anyway.

This year’s 31 day series is all about what I have learned in one year of home ownership and trying to make my house a home while keeping my sanity and having a family while keeping my husband’s sanity, too!  I want to live more simply, and focus less on the ‘stuff’ in my home, and more on making it a comfortable place to actually be LIVED IN.  I don’t want to just make it pretty enough to be in a magazine, and that’s for a lot of reasons, some of which are budgetary, time, oh and this 4-legged fur ball that tends to make a mess of everything.  But it’s cool.  We love him.  But it would be pretty cool to have a house pretty enough to be in a magazine.  Someday!

So this is where you can follow along with each and every post.  Oh and if you still have no idea what the 31 day series is all about, this is a great place to start, since The Nester herself is the one who brilliantly came up with it!

I look forward to this series. Anything to make life easier on my OCD (yep, me too). You are sharing a lot of good ideas from what I’ve read so far (I think I am reading things out of order, though, this week!). Looking forward to more of your good advice!

SO glad to know I’m not alone! And hey, out of order or not, I just love that you’re actually reading the stuff! :)
