Before we get this party started, can I just toot my own horn for like 3 seconds?
I not only wrote EVERY SINGLE DAY for 31 days (and yes, I know THOUSANDS of other people also did this), I also wrote an additional post on Insights into Blogging with some bloggy friends, and now this Friday 5 post.
That makes 33 posts in 32 days!
Alright. I’m done. That’s as much tooting as I’m gonna do.
Yep… that sounds weird.
Let’s move on…
This week’s picks didn’t seem to have any sort of theme at first, then it dawned on me – they are all frugal , DIY and awesome ideas!!! Who doesn’t love that, right?!?
Here are this week’s picks:
Ummm ok. Yes please! Homemade twix bars by A Beautiful Mess. GET IN MY BELLY!
How about a $5 project? I know… awesome, right? Head on over to Meggie’s Window for her succulent tutorial, which would make a perfectly sweet hostess, Christmas, teacher, or anything gift!
Want another inexpensive and awesome project? Look no further than Good Ideas For You – this bowl is made with some string, fabric stiffener, saran wrap and a bowl!
If you don’t love fresh flowers in your house you better have a good darn reason because they are amazing. These are grocery store blooms, but they look waaaaay more lush than the typical sad $5 you see, don’t they? See how it’s done over at Apartment Therapy.
One is $400. The other is $35. Enough said… oh and it’s easier to make than you might think, so go on and see Sarah M. Dorsey Designs for the full tutorial!
Now it’s time for….
MORE of The Friday Five: 5 Tips for a Successful Wedding Photo Shoot with Lauren at The Thinking Closet! She has had some incredible projects this week with her glittery pumpkins (LOVE! and there’s a giveaway with this post too) and a photobooth backdrop made with dollar store tablecloths! Genius!
I hope you have a fantastic Fall weekend, and don’t forget to turn your clocks back!
One more hour of sleep. YAY!
