How to make a Family Yearbook (with Mixbook)

Father's Day is upon us, and this year I wanted to give Marquis something special that he would be able to keep forever, but also that the boys would enjoy with him. Truthfully? This is a gift for the whole family, which is also totally ok with Marquis because he's just that kind of guy. So what is it? Well, I made us a family yearbook! Actually, I made two, because we haven't printed photos in years, and it was about time!I used Mixbook to make these, and my entire experience could not have been better! First of all, they have such an easy way to build these and dozens of different themes to choose from that make the whole process such a breeze!I uploaded photos directly from my phone into my project and they get transferred in, saved in chronological order which is so helpful when creating a yearbook!From that point, I can either build the book on my phone or go to a desktop to finish it.I chose the Memories (by The Pigeon Letters) theme for the 2017 yearbook and the Modern White Year in Review for 2018. I love that both of these themes have black and white elements, though the Memories theme definitely has a bit more colour throughout.The books we have are 10x10 and I opted to also have them in the premium matte lay flat, which honest to goodness makes ALL the difference. Considering we want these to last a lifetime, and our 3-year olds currently love to flip through these and see themselves as babies, having a hardcover book that also lays perfectly flat regardless of thickness is definitely a key element!
