8 Black & Gold Sconces Under $80
Now that the One Room Challenge is behind me and I've had a moment to breathe (sort of), I'm catching up on all comments and questions, and one of the most overwhelming responses I've had to the powder room makeover has been in regards to the lighting. You guys really liked that sconce! I happen to have a thing for black and gold sconces these days, so I get it. This particular one was love at first sight, and don't get me wrong, I still love it, but unfortunately it came with its set of difficulties...See how the two little bolts are on a diagonal there? They weren't supposed to look like that. We actually had to replace that cover because the one that came with it wasn't spaced properly for the little box we had inside the wall. I know nothing about wiring or any of this electrical stuff, but that's what my husband told me. It doesn't bother me too much, but it's kind of annoying. Still, this light fixture was insanely well-priced so I've included it as part of my round up for you today. Here are some of my favourite finds from around the web for similar lighting that you can use in your own home and that absolutely will not break the bank. I have three of these in my own house, so I can attest to my love for them!
- CDN$36.99 from Amazon (the same one I have in the powder room)
- CDN$29.99 from Amazon - seriously. This is insane!
- US$72.99 from Wayfair (ok, so this one may be a little over $80 for my fellow Canadians... sorry!)
- US$63.99 from Wayfair
- CDN$49.99 from Amazon
- CDN$49.99 from Canadian Tire - you'll be seeing these in another room makeover soon!
- CDN$49.99 from Canadian Tire - another one we have multiples of in our house
- US$64.99 from Wayfair
And there you have it! I hope this is helpful for your own search for the perfect sconce. I know it can be so overwhelming to search the internet for ANYTHING because the possibilities are endless, so hopefully this little bit of work I've done for you gets you on the right track. Please know this post does have affiliate links. What does that mean? Should you decide to purchase some of these, if you use the link from this post to do so, I get a very small percentage of that sale, which will be great for getting this tired mama a hot cup of coffee when she's on the road with babies, so my future uncaffeinated self thanks you!
