Dining Room & Nursery Makeovers for The Holidays!
Did you just read the word "Holidays" int he title of this post and cringe? Well, it's that time of year again, when we prepare to get out all of the Christmas decor nice and early so we can shoot room makeovers for Leon's Hello Holiday, which you can see in November!This past Spring, we made over the master bedroom and our kitchen got all new appliances, thanks to Frigidaire. It's no secret that working with Leon's for the last 4+ years has been a HUUUUUUUUUGE blessing to our family, and that is never lost on us, so this season we're making over one of our own rooms and one that belongs to another family. The first room we're tackling is our very own dining room. This space has seen better days - it's had unpainted baseboards, a sad-looking yellow-framed window and a tiny table we got second-hand many years ago. That has been the case for the last year that we have lived in this house, and though there are many more unfinished spaces in here, once the kitchen was completed and with all kinds of holidays and our boys' second birthday (insert crying emoji x1000 here) coming up, we knew we needed a more grown up and proper place, and a table that can seat more than 4 people!Here's what we're planning with the help of Leon's!

The second room we're tackling is a baby girl's nursery! Remember: this is SOMEONE ELSE'S space, so we don't have any big news to share here, ok?The room we're making over actually belongs to Joy and Dave Kenney, and you may recognize Dave from several HGTV Canada shows, like Home to Win, and also as half of the dynamic due, the BroLaws. Joy and Dave are expecting their third child, and second little girl. It's a very exciting time, so we partnered with them to make over this space before their littlest princess arrives!Here's what we're planning: 
The room will have a feature shiplap wall, and again, a mix of furniture pieces to make the space feel collected and a little more grown up, too!
