Easy Thanksgiving Appetizers

It's crazy that we're already thinking about Thanksgiving, but for us Canadians, the holiday is only a couple of weeks away! As someone who feels pretty overwhelmed by making full blown meals for other people, I typically handle myself really well with things like starters and charcuterie boards, which is why I have some great Thanksgiving appetizers for you and what pieces you might need to make this all happen! The signature drink

Having something your guests can drink (both with alcohol and without) is such a nice detail to include. I prepared a mojito, and even tough that's typically seen as a Summer drink, I like that the mint works to clear your palette before a meal, plus it tends to be a crowd favourite!I used Kitchen Stuff Plus' Luigi Bormioli Italian Table Stories 'Este' Dof Glasses, and I love the texture on them and the vintage feel. A natural wood muddler was kept close by to mix the mint, sugar and lime on the spot. YUM!

The charcuterie boards

Yes, I said boards. With an 'S' at the end. Because sometimes one is just not enough, and a little variety never hurt anyone! I started with a large Crushed Bamboo Cutting Board and added some of my favourite cheeses, some meat, goldenberries (that are a little tart and have amazing texture), and some of my favourite olives in a little white dish that was part of the KSP Savour Ceramic Entertainment PackFor the next board, I used the KSP Artisanal 'Acacia Wood' Cheese Board With Knives, which also makes an amazing hostess gift, by the way! On this board: more cheese, more fruit, more meat, plus some crunchy peanuts and toasty bread. I added in the kitchen towel for a little extra texture on the table.

The little random bits

I like to have something for everyone, so having some honeyed peanuts, caprese skewers and little crostini is always a good idea! For this, I used the KSP Savour Ceramic Entertainment Pack and KSP Aurora Porcelain Oval Bowl with Handle. 

The cheesy, hot dip

I mean, who doesn't love a good cheesy hot dip??? Spinach and artichoke is a classic combination, and with some fresh bread around it, it becomes a bit of a showstopper. Honestly, I've made this on multiple occasions already, and the Ricardo Enamel 3.5 L Round Dutch Oven is the perfect for taking tis gorgeous dish from oven to table! Don't forget the Cotton-Silicone Oven Mitts to protect everyone's hands!And there you have it.
