Foraged Fall Tablescape
It feels like it's been a while, but I'm coming to you today with a super simple foraged Fall tablescape I put together quickly, and with mostly things I already owned!First thing's first: I used my own white dishes and added a bit of texture to the set by using some woven plates I found at a thrift store a few years ago.The mustard yellow tablecloth was a bit of a gamble. I picked it up at Homesense earlier in the week, and I was a bit concerned that it would look crazy with the green on the buffalo plaid wall. By the way, if you want to see how I painted this plaid wall, I happen to have a full tutorial with the colours I used.I used the eucalyptus on the table to balance the green of the wall, and the grass was foraged (last Fall, actually) from the side of the road while on a drive with my kids! I absolutely LOVE their texture and that it makes the table mostly tone on tone. All of the pottery and glass bottles I used in the centrepiece were thrifted and I have had them for a while. I love that these vintage pieces that have been collected over time can take on the look of a collection like this.Oh, and how about the silverware! This was another DIY project with thrifted pieces - I actually spray painted them myself! I still love them so much, and even though they obviously can't be put in the dishwasher, I carefully hand wash them and they've held up so well!Ok, so that's all I've got for you, but there are LOTS of other Fall tablescapes for you to take a peek at today! These talented bloggers have all put together gorgeous table decor for you to see, so enjoy!
