Front Porch Makeover with Hauser

I love our front porch. It’s always sunny, warm, and our kids love playing in the front yard, so it means I get some space to actually sit and watch them. But this front porch had seen better days. The love seat was truly a sad situation - it has more stains on it than I care to admit and honestly, the cushions are so lumpy they’re no longer comfortable. As for the other two chairs, they’re from our outdoor dining set and don’t exactly scream “come sit on me” you know what I mean?

So what did we do? Well, naturally I wanted to create an outdoor space that feels as comfortable as an indoor space, but with pieces that can be trusted not to fall apartor stain easily. Before I tell you what I went with, let me show you what this space looked like.

A little sad, right? And we didn’t even need all those seats there since it’s pretty much just my husband and I who sit out there, so it was time for some change.

Thanks to our friends over at Hauser, we were able to replace these uncomfortable pieces with THE MOST comfortable chairs! These are the Arch chairs, and they are super deep and I can basically lay in them, which is a dream!

We also added the Barrel Pedestal End Table (because we gotta put our drinks somewhere, right?).

Having an outdoor rug also defines the space a little better and makes it feel even more like an indoor space that happens to be outdoors. I can’t wait to watch the leaves fall in Autumn while sipping a hot coffee from this very spot!

The last thing we added were some accent pillows to cozy it up and a few more plants.

I cannot tell you how good it feels to have this cozy space to welcome us home every single day!
