Master Bathroom Makeover – Drywall and Shower Tile

IMG_7254-scaled.jpg

Last week we talked about choosing the bathroom flooring and vanity cabinets, this week Dave and Joey of The Brolaws are tackling the shower surround tiling, and they have some great tips, as well!To recap, here's what we chose:On the floors, faux wood tiles in a herringbone pattern. On the shower walls, bevelled subway tile in a staggered pattern. On the shower floor, a marble hexagon mosaic. All of these were purchased at Home Depot, which really proves how well you can design a bathroom with a one stop shop! We were so pleased with the tile selection, and being able to see the cabinet doors, paint colours, and tiles all together in one place without having to bring anything in really made life so simple! Here's the full video, where Joey shares some great tiling tips with us!Next week we'll be talking about grout and plumbing fixtures, so stay tunes and keep following along as we share this makeover with the other participants of the One Room Challenge!
