Shared Toddler Room – One Room Challenge [Fall 2018 – Week 5]
THIS IS IT!!!! We're in the home stretch now and I am S.C.A.R.E.D! Not that I won't be finished, but more so that m vision won't come together because I sometimes need what I don't have: TIME! Time to play with all of the things and figure out how I want to style shelves and steam the curtains and maybe add trim to them and and and and.....But I'm not here to feed you negativity! I want to show you all the things I finally unboxed this week and give you a peek of what the room is going to look like!Ready?Let's start with the beds. Boy, oh boy, I love these beds. The Julia is fully upholstered with a French seamed headboard that I am obsessed with. The fabric is durable, easy to clean (ask me how I ALREADY know that), and a great neutral for any space. We got two singles for the boys, but these come in double, queen and king sizes, and those larger beds also come with storage options - YES, these beds have storage, and the mattress just lifts right up so you can put furniture next to the bed without worrying whether you'll be able to access everything. The Hara 3-drawer dresser is so darn pretty, but also heavy and durable enough to live in a boys' room, which was obviously a major priority for me! I love that there are 3 shallow drawers and lots of space underneath, because I knew this table would be placed right above the vent in the bedroom. Also, I just really love a leggy table because they tend to make a space look bigger and more open. Win-win! And can we talk about the brass pulls, please? Deadly. The Peek Pouf next to their bed is really there for me (and my husband). I knew that we would likely be spending lots of time either reading stories, playing, or just hanging out in here with the kids, and I wanted to have something easy to move around for us to sit on. Next week I'll talk more about the accessories going into the room, like the Lido lamp, but for now, if you're not a retailer or designer and want to get your hands on these items, you can check them out over at Casa Alma:Hara Dresser | Lido Table Lamp | Julia Bed | Peek Pouf Now I need to finish cleaning, get a rug in here, accessorize and get all the artwork ready! Wish me luck!
