Weekend Winners ~ 15 or is it the Friday Five?
Stop the presses!!! After completing my 14th edition of the Weekend Winners, I had some sort of weird epiphanic (or is it epiphanous?) moment. I'm not crazy about the name "Weekend Winners". It sounds a little cheesy to me, and I did at first consider naming it the Friday Favourites, but had found that some other blogs/sites (such as Liz Marie Blog and Lauren Conrad) already use that title, albeit without the 'O' like us Canucks. So what do you think? Keep "Weekend Winners" or go to "Friday Five"? I need your help with this one! Please vote, and if you have any suggestions go right ahead and let me know. I need all the help I can get!!
***Update: POLL OFFICIALLY CANCELLED! So as it turns out one of my super duper bloggy friends, Lauren, has just started a series on Fridays, and guess what she calls it? Yep... The Friday Five. Sooooooo we're going to collaborate and make The Friday Five super, incredibly awesome! Now you should go check out The Friday Five over at The Thinking Closet!

Here are this week's winners:
The Best Chocolate Ice Cream You'll Ever Have - and I believe it too! Take a peek at this recipe, which does not require an ice cream maker, btw! I'm so incredily tempted to try this, but I think I'll wait until we have some company to eat it with us, because I'm afraid we may eat the entire container otherwise!

It's hard not to love a gorgeous colour palette like this one, isn't it? And it sure helps that it's put together with such beautiful pictures. I am loving all things pastel this season and have been caught wearing crazy amounts of soft pinks to prove it. Now if only I could somehow bring this into my home... no way - the Mr. would quickly put a stop to pink in the house! This pretty collage was put together by Decor8.

Indigo is having a Summer Sale and I am itching to buy everything in it! Their home and fashion accessories seem to be getting better and better every season and I am forever in lust with all of it. Now go look at some pretty things to fall in love with!

Sarah of Sarah M. Dorsey Designs is a creator of all things beautiful, and this print is no exception. This week she posted about a salvaged table, which she stenciled with one of her amazing creations (she designs gorgeous stencils) and we caught a glimpse of this little corner. Sarah graciously created PDF files for all of us of not only this saying, but also "You are my sunshine", "Follow your dreams/heart", and "Never ever give up." She printed these beauties for a few bucks at Staples, framed them with some RIBBAs and look at them now! If you're looking for a little something for your walls that won't break the bank, you just found it! All files are linked to this blog post of hers.

Leaving you with a slice of Luther and a little Henry James, which I thought was appropriate as a celebration of an American writer for the 4th of July and in hopes that you will have a beautiful Summer afternoon!
