Weekend Winners ~ 8
It's time for another round of the best things I found on the web this week. I realize this is now the second week in less than a month in which I have posted nothing but the Weekend Winners. This is not because I'm doing nothing... it's because I am doing too much all at once and FINISHING nothing. Typical Thalita... I have 3 projects on the go which I am dying to share, but refuse to until they are actually completed. One (at least) will be coming this week though :)
Before we get going: Happy Mother's Day to all you beautiful mommies out there! You are all absolute heroes in my eyes for doing what you do and loving like you love every single day forever!
Here are this week's winners:
Beginning with a project that could be used for so many different projects: door decor, wall decor, wedding decor, just-because decor... I'm loving that this is done with silk flowers yet looks so fresh! Not to mention, this is a LOT less work than the monogram planters I pinned a couple of weeks ago... Thanks to Parcel Post for this wonderful and easy project idea!

A little hidden storage is ALWAYS welcome in my books - hahaha oh my... that was an unintentional (and possibly terrible and/or awesome?) pun. I'm so sorry, but after it was typed, I just couldn't delete it because I made myself (and probably no one else) laugh. Moving on. This is a great idea, and I have to say, much easier than taking an old book and cutting a rectangle into the pages. Has anyone ever tried that? It's actually quite complicated... This project by Sewing Barefoot is so simple and achievable, I just know it'll be something I try for the future bookcases int he future office!

Honest to goodness, how delicious do you think these would be in iced coffee (or even in iced tea, like the one I shared that week)? On a scale of 1-10, I'd say this is a solid 10 in yumminess! This is yet another great idea from A Beautiful Mess. I don't know where the spouts like the ones they used (not shown here) can be purchased, but I got one of these bottles from IKEA that I think could be great for holding delicious syrup, and at $2.99 each, that sure does it for me!

In keeping with the coffee theme, if you follow on Instagram you know I succumbed to the ploys of billboards everywhere and the warm weather. I had an Iced Coffee. It was delicious, but could it get MORE delicious by making it myself? It sure sounds that way. The Pioneer Woman sure sold me on brewing my own iced coffee and adding one of my favourite things about life into it: condensed milk. Oh. Dear.
