The High/Low is back! If you've been around long enough to know that there used to be such a series here, then bless your heart - I love you. If not, no hard feelings. It was a VERY long time ago!The series is back, but it's way better than the last time because I've now joined with 3 fabulous Canadian bloggers who will be doing their own High/Low redesigns in their chosen styles. I can guarantee that you won't be disappointed. These are some very talented women! For this very first High/Low, I've made two versions of a living room featuring a blush pink sofa, because a girl can dream, am I right? Far chance I'll get a blush sofa in a house full of rambunctious boys, but that's ok. Let's take a peek at the inspiration behind this redesign...

I fell in love with the sofas and the fact that this space still looks so warm, inviting, and sophisticated. So now I'll show you how you can recreate this look yourself - on two VERY different budgets! But first you have to guess... which do you think is the High, and which is the Low?Alright, so it might be hard to tell in a small picture, so here are the two rooms in the same order as above. Also, you may notice the sofas look identical - that's because they are. I'll explain why in a bit! Ok, so the sofa stayed the same because it was a great value and I thought it would be a great anchoring point to the room - and because it's also a pull-out and a less expensive sofa that wasn't a pull-out wouldn't be a fair comparison.Ok, so do you have your guess? Are you ready for the results?Surprised? Underwhelmed? The total difference is $3,785. I think considering this means you could recreate the low-end version of this room twice for the same cost as one of the high-end, that's not too bad!Note that the prices below are for each curtain panel, so for both the high and low options, I included the cost of two panels. Also, these are listed in USD, except for the curtains in the low option which is in CAD - that's some important info, and I didn't want to forget to tell you! Here are the rooms again, with pricing and all sources listed.
