Master Bathroom Makeover – Countertops and Decor

fletcher-bathroom-mood-board-1.jpg

This week on our master bathroom makeover series for the One Room Challenge, we're nearing the finish line and talking about countertop installation, plus I get to comeback into the picture to bring my mood board to life and get some shopping done! The countertop we chose is Silestone White North. It has just a few specs of grey in it, and is such a great clean, simple, but beautiful option for the bathroom. Ultimately, we chose quartz for the durability, looks, and how easy it is to maintain and clean.I'm like so ridiculously excited to see the progress happening in this bathroom! If you've missed previous weeks, you can check out the one with the before photos, the one with flooring, the one with drywall and shower tile,  the one with the tub and vanity install, and then you're back here. To get started this week, let me show you the original plan for this space:The inspiration images all have lots of white and grey to make this a really calm and soothing space.I created a mood board so we'd really be able to picture what the room would look like:Adding in a bit of warmth with wood-look tile and other wooden accents was a must - otherwise we ran into the issue of having things look too clinical. As you can see, I planned for some round mirrors and wall-mounted faucets - I can't wait to see these bad boys in action. All of the finishes in this bathroom are stainless steel, so we opted for the Delta Trinsic Tissue Holder, Delta Trinsic Robe Hook, Delta Trinsic Towel Ring, and Delta Trinsic Single Handle Wall Mount Lavatory Faucet Trim.I found a pair of wood-framed round mirrors at Homesense and they are perfection! As we near the finish line, I'm so excited to get this space accessorized with some of my favourite finds! You can see the full video for a few more up close looks at what's going in, and we discuss window coverings, too!
