ONE. WEEK. LEFT.This is it, you guys. Crunch time! I'm not nearly as stressed as I was last week, though if I update my to-do list, I might just freak out a little. So let's see what's on it.Still to do:

  • one more coat of black paint on door
  • reinstall door handle
  • finish painting bookcase
  • paint and install backing on bookshelf
  • style bookcase (eek! this is going to take me weeks!)
  • paint 4 frames for gallery wall

  • organize and style desk
  • paint stool
  • pillows!

My apologies for the fuzzy iPhone photos... at this stage, I'm not ready for nice, sharp SLR pictures, but next week, my friends! Also, most definitely, no chance, not happening this time is the closet makeover. There's just too much that needs to happen in there and it's basically a 6 week challenge on its own. Ok, fine, maybe a 3 week challenge, but nonetheless!Completed this week: I put in a craftsman style window casing complete with a deep sill for my little plants to sit on! All by myself! And it wasn't even that hard!!!11115941_10101337469837247_1431541208_n One big table has been made into two and they're happily living on separate sides of the room (thank you, Alex!). This was a pretty major change of plans, as this was originally supposed to be an L-shaped desk if you remember the week 1 plans, but that just was not going to work. The table was too old and well-made for us to take apart and have one of the legs moved, so I decided to opt for two separate workspaces in here instead. One will be for my computer and regular desk things (left) and one will be for crafting/prepping prints for the shop/photographing projects (right).11178593_10101337469852217_1758279903_nI've also started planning the gallery wall and it's been changed... oh... about 8 times by now. 11198916_10101337469857207_605943509_ngallery wallAnd just for fun, here's a view from another angle:11129747_10101337469867187_1658223078_nOh and I painted the footstool! It was an off-white canvas, and it's pretty old (back from Alex's bachelor days) and pretty dingy... so I used mineral paint and it's now white! Yay!11178486_10101337469842237_72949294_nAs you've seen, I also put a rug in the room, which I am loving! I've had this thing in a closet for over a year. Brutal. But I knew it was meant to go in here all along and I had an irrational fear that Ikea would stop selling it if I didn't get it then. They still have it. Figures! In all, I feel pretty darn good about my progress, and I'm not actually freaking out about that to-do list, but ask me again Monday and we'll see!If you want to see the previous weeks' progress, here they are:Week 1Week 2Week 3Week 4If you want to see all of these insane updates and pictures of my dog, follow along on Instagram!
