Fall Cleaning Made Easy
It really doesn't matter what time of year it is - I always feel like I can use a hand (or 3) when it comes to getting the house clean. I say it a lot, but with two 3-year olds running wild in this house, but honestly, whatever little thing I can do to make the process of cleaning up easier, I will do!Today I'm partnering with Libman to bring you a few tips on how to keep the house clean with two littles around to wreak havoc! And there's a big giveaway at the end, so don't miss that!
1. Involve the kids!
Truth: I don't ALWAYS do this because my house would never get cleaned, but when I can, I involve the boys in the cleaning so that they can understand how to use the tools we have. Making cleaning something fun means they're more likely to want to help out, right? Now excuse me while I grab a hot coffee and watch the kids "clean!"
2. Use the right tools
Like this awesome Spiralsweep broom! It's incredibly light, doesn't require batteries, and has a big compartment to hold all the crumbs picks up! This means I don't need to always use a traditional broom and dustpan because this little guy does it all!Another one of my faves is the Scrub Sponges with Suction Hanger. This little guy stays out of the way and always has a place to go where it won't get all gross and stinky sitting in water. It's the perfect thing for everyday dish-washing!
3. Make it Washable
Libman has a lot of tools that come with replaceable and washable attachments, and that right there is a major life-saver when it comes to getting the house clean! With all of the wet boots coming into the house, having something easy I can grab to mop it up makes life so much easier, and being able to take it apart to toss into the washing machine is even better! Talk about convenience! Libman has lots of tools like this, but two of my faves are the Microfiber Dust Mop and the Microfiber Wet & Dry Mop.Now that you have 3 ways to stay sane this Fall as you prep your house for all that's to come (snow is imminent), I want to help you get the tools you need for it, too!
