The Friday 5: "For goodness' sake"
Wuddup peeps!
Super pumped to be bringing you another five links this week! The internet just does not disappoint, you know? On second thought... that's a pretty broad and probably untrue statement... oops.
Quick update before we get this party started - I got my phone back! Well, not back... I went to Best Buy -- TWICE -- and on the second try, I got my phone exchanged. It was quite the ordeal, but it's done.
So remember that time I didn't have a phone for 48 hours and I didn't die?
Yeah, me too! Still... super happy to have this phone back even if Siri is a little bit of a jerk.
Here are this week's picks:
Because who wants to pay more for jeans that are ripped and worn when you can just use an exacto knife and sandpaper to wear out your own, less expensive jeans without having to wear them every day for a year!?! This would also be great for a denim jacket or shorts! Loving it. I Spy DIY is responsibly for this awesome idea!
.
Doesn't this creamy risotto look so delicious? Mmmmm... and it's made with cauliflower!! That's right, alfredo sauce made out of cauliflower care of Pinch of Yum! I seriously want to try this, and I have my fingers and toes crossed that it tastes as delicious as it looks!
.
This is a necklace. It's made out of ribbon and copper cap sleeve connectors. Don't know what those are? Me either. But doesn't this necklace look awesome? Totes. Go check out Stripes and Sequins for this one!
.
Who knew!?!?! "Break the ice" came from Shakespeare? "For goodness' sake?" "Wild goose chase?" Seriously. I could go on until that entire page is regurgitated on this blog. But I won't. You're welcome. [Source]
.
This is either really good or really bad advice. I daydream a lot. A LOT! Hmm... [Source]

Remember to go see Lauren's picks for the week. Oh and because I just can't get enough of her awesome little comic rendition of us high-fiving...
Now off you go to read Lauren's The Friday Five: Sharks vs. Sting Ray.
Enjoy your sunny, warm weekend!
