The Friday 5: First Edition

I made the mistake had the pleasure of going to Anthropologie earlier this week, and I must have spent at least an hour in there.  That store just knows how to suck me in!  It's terrible?  Or awesome?  I'm not sure.  Anyway, it had me thinking Anthro all week long, so that's the theme of this week's Five: things on my Anthro wishlist along with the likelihood I will ever actually attain such beauties!

Here are this week's picks:

29179900_004_bLikelihood pf purchase: UNSURE  --  These are beautiful, that's a fact.  To buy towels, though, I would have to go to the store and see them.  Not something I'd feel good about purchasing online, because although gorgeous, what's their drying quality like?  I'm not one for decorative towels, so you bet your bottom these bad boys would get used in my house! Oh and your eyes are not deceiving you - on top of beautifully woven, they are also ombre!  So good!2014 calendars1/2/3/4   Likelihood of purchase: HIGH  --  It'll either be the herbs/secret garden calendar in the kitchen, or I'll be looking for a 2013 maps calendar just for the framing potential!  Hello map gallery wall? Yes, hello!25432444_012_bLikelihood of purchase: NOT GONNA HAPPEN  --  I know what you're thinking... "but, Thalita, this is the definition of perfection!!"  Yes, I know.  But perfection comes with a BIG price tag - $490 big, to be exact, for everything you see in that photo (coverlet, 2 standard shams and 2 euro shams).  Ouch.

wallpaper dreams1/2/3/4  Likelihood of purchase: LOW (right now, anyway...)  --  That Etched Arcadia mural is amazing.  Pure work of art!  And the Peonies?  Thinking back of a bookcase for my mega girly office.  *Squeal!*

26313858_070_bLikelihood of purchase: MODERATE (high if it goes on sale)  --  Wishbones make me think of my childhood.  My family had a thing for setting the wishbone aside and my parents always let my brother and I break it.  So this would be a cool thing to have just for the sheer memories of closing my eyes tight, making a wish and holding my breath as I pulled on that little piece of bone!  Also, an appropriate way to finish off a wishlist, no?That's all for this week, my lovelies.  I'm not sure I should bother apologizing for the lack of posting this week because you're probably so used to it!  I'm working on the scary bathroom AND the kitchen hutch posts simultaneously, and that's probably why neither is finished!  It's coming... I'm just trying to keep you in as much suspense as possible!  It's working, right?  Don't worry, I'll try to have it done before you completely lose interest!
