The Friday Five: Saying Less
I read a lot of blogs. I'm up to about 150, actually, so..... I think that's considered a problem?!? This might be why I am feeling like I need to quiet down a bit - some of my favourite bloggers take opportunities to say less and show more every now and then, and maybe that's the point of The Friday Five. Instead of giving you my detailed every thought and opinion on each image, I'm going to stick to as few words as possible. I would limit myself to 5 words like Lauren has been doing, but I have tried and already failed miserably. Ugh. This is hard. Here we go.
Here are this week's picks:
IKEA hackers shows us that old frames + IKEA spice racks = some darn cool shelving!
.
Planning a home project just got simpler and cuter. Free printable c/o IHeart Organizing.
.
Small spaces can be functional and beautiful. Design Sponge featured an amazing Sneak Peek of this 390 square foot home this week.
.
Speaking of beautiful small spaces... 1884 church turned 1 bedroom (plus 1 separate bunky), impeccably decorated home. AND IT'S FOR SALE. LOCALLY. AAAAAAAAAAH!
.
It's one of my worst nightmares - hearing myself speak. A Cup of Jo gives us some good conversation starters in case you run out.
.
Ok so I'm at like 20 words per image, but I tried! Maybe a more realistic goal should have been 5 sentences for each pick. Ha!
Time for 5 more cool things to see over at The Thinking Closet!
Have a fun, restful, BBQ-eating, ice-cream-dripping, lounging-on-the-grass kind of long weekend!
