Winter & Holiday Home Tour
It's the most wonderful time of the year... when I actually clean my house and take pictures of it! Home tour time!Truth be told, I think this year has been one of the most relaxed yet when it comes to Holiday decorating. There were no major photoshoots, so the tree didn't go up in October like it usually does! Kind of a nice break, if I can be honest!To start, I put up some simple trees in the front entrance, which includes this DIY buffalo check doormat and a flocked wreath on the front door.
The dining room already feel Christmas-ey with the DIY buffalo check doormat (can you tell I have a thing for gingham?), so I added a wreath to the mirror and some little ornaments and bottle brush trees to a cake stand to keep on the table.
In the hallway, I added in the kids' advent calendar which is really just some paper bags with washi tape numbers on them, on an accordion hook from Casa Alma. I filled the bags with a mix of treats, activities and crafts for the kids.
Over on the other side a really simple gold wreath I have had for years (and found at a thrift store) on the powder room door, and evidence that potty training is currently happening in our house!
The kitchen also got a holiday touch with a paint by numbers print, a personalized piece that you can read more about here, and a teeny tiny tree! I also have a wreath I got at the dollar store last year that I added a simple ribbon to.
Our coffee machine also got some little white bottle brush trees, and I love that there are hints of Winter and Holiday decor without feeling overwhelming in here.
